What do you do?

We come into this world in 40 weeks, give or take. A few of us hang in there just a bit longer; a few jump out a little earlier. More or less, 40 weeks is how long it takes before we take that first breath and cross the starting line.

We expect to play like children do, have a first kiss, graduate from something, have a few crummy jobs, get married, maybe download a few kids, watch them grow up, etc, etc. For the most part, we all figure that if we look both ways before crossing the street we will grow old and wrinkly then yell at those dang kids ‘cause things aren’t like they used to be. You get the Idea.

BUT…THE FINISH LINE HAS BEEN MOVED…

What if you found out that you would be dead in 40 weeks. 40 weeks and your life is over. 40 weeks to wrap it all up. No matter your personal or religous beliefs; 40 weeks and you no longer have a physical presence here. Goodbye. Adios. Sayonara.

What do you do?

Maybe it is a terminal disease, maybe you had a premonition and saw the date on your headstone, maybe you would simply know, the how is less important than what you do you do.

You didn’t have a lot of say so in what happened in the first 40 weeks… now you have to make every decision.

What do you do?
